Hello! I’m so excited to be guest posting here at The NY Melrose Family and I’d like to say a big thank you to Jenny for having me! My name is Leslie and I blog at House on the Way, a home decor & design blog.

House on the Way

Today I’m sharing a great project using glass etching creme. Have you ever wanted those gorgeous monogrammed glasses from Pottery Barn or Williams-Sonoma? The glasses are beautiful….the price…not so much!

You can get the look on your own with just a few supplies. It’s easy and the end result looks great!

Red Cabbage Coleslaw

My red cabbage coleslaw is a sweet, light side that is perfect for any cookout.  When it comes to coleslaw I’m a bit of a snob.  I don’t like my coleslaw loaded with mayonnaise and I especially don’t like it if it doesn’t have a little sweet zip to it.  My red cabbage coleslaw has both of these things.  Plus, it’s so easy to put together.

Mombo Nursing Pillow Review

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort and Harmony for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Many of you probably have noticed that I've been absent lately.  We welcomed Baby Avery Elizabeth into the world Mother's Day morning at 5:19 am.  Since her arrival we've been busy transitioning our house of three into a family of four, which includes helping big sister, Riley make the transition as well.  Since Riley is three and half it's been a while since the newborn stage and there were tons of things that I managed to misplace.  One of those things was my nursing pillow.  Luckily, I received a mombo nursing pillow from Comfort Harmony that is a hit with Avery and Riley.

The shape of the pillow is perfect for keeping Avery upright and makes her feel secure in between the two sides.  We are also huge fans of the slip cover with it's girly design and soft fabric.  The slipcover is easy to get on and off of the pillow and makes it a cinch to throw it into the washing machine for a quick wash.  The Mombo pillow also comes with a vibrating mechanism that can be placed inside the pillow to give it that little bit of stimulation that Avery loves.

Plus, there's plenty of room for Big Sister to relax on as well.  You can find the mombo nursing pillow at Babies R Us.  Be sure to follow along with Comfort & Harmony on Facebook and Comfort & Harmony on Twitter.

I was compensated for this post with product, but the opinions expressed are 100% mine and honest.
