5 Organized Spaces

The New Year always seems to bring out the projects around my house.  Things that we have put off for months become a must do.  With baby #2 on the way and due in May, I feel even more of a need to get organized.  I have numerous projects in mind, which include turning Riley’s room into a big girl room/nursery.  I’ve been checking out different ideas on how to divide up the room and I’m excited to share them with all of you.  Luckily, baby #2 will also be a girl so we won’t need to repaint Riley’s purple bedroom.  Plus, we’ll be able to use her Sugar Plum Crib Bedding that matches her Sweet JoJo Queen Bedding.  This year was the year of organizing closets and I have a feeling that 2013 will be all about redesigning the rooms.  So excited for the change!

I love all of your organizing ideas! I really need to take notes, especially with the chest as a file ‘cabinet’.

This is definitely on my list of things to do this year- I’m a teacher by trade so with summers off, I spend a great deal of time getting organized then….I’m thinking an craft room/office re-vamp is in order! Love the chest with the cork board! :)

I’m a teacher as well. My big project this year is my craft area as well as turning my daughter’s toddler room into a toddler/nursery. Unfortunately, my craft room is in my master bedroom so we’re working with limited space, which is why I love my office chest.

    Hi,
I found you through Cheerios and Lattes link party. Great job on your organizing and congrats on your upcoming arrival! You’re smart to get going on organization before your family expands. We went from a family of 2 to 5 in a very short period and I can’t always keep up with all the organizing stuff now! Wishing you a Blessed New Year!

Great organizing projects Jenny! I love the chest idea and you made great use of the space in your master closet and the mudroom closet. Good luck with getting organized in the new year and before the baby comes! It’s so worth it :)
