With next week being Teacher Appreciation Week, I thought it would only be fair if I shared a free teacher appreciation printable for all of you. My “Thanks for helping me bloom!” printable would go great with some flower sugar cookies to thank the special teacher in your child’s life. As a teacher myself, I would love any sort of treat with these adorable gift tags.

I’m not in school right now because baby #2 is due any day now, but I have to let the teachers in my life know how much I appreciate them. As a reading specialist I spend my days working cooperatively with my teachers to meet the needs of our students. I am extremely fortunate because I work with some of the most dedicated teachers I have ever met. This year with the Common Core Learning Standards, teachers have had to step up their games tremendously. We have had to teach two years worth of content in one and the women pictured below have worked feverishly to get their students prepared for the NYS exams, while creating a sense of community within their classrooms. These teachers spend endless hours on lesson planning and a large chunk of their salary on supplies for their students.
As a teacher, I was so excited to hear about Office Depot: Real Change Project. Teachers have the opportunity to register their classroom with AdoptAClassroom.org in order to to participate in the REAL Change Project and be eligible for funding from donors nationwide. If you’re a teacher, hop over to register your classroom today. The great part for donors and teachers is that 100% of the donations goes directly to the teachers so that they don’t need to spend their own money on classroom supplies.
I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.Teacher Appreciation Printable: Office Depot Real Change Project by Jenny Melrose
