St. Patricks Day Crafts

As some of you might have realized from my stash of St. Patrick’s Day Crafts, which you can find here, I’m a bit Irish.  I mean, have you seen my oldest daughter?  We put 70+ SPF sunscreen on her when she goes outside in the middle of the Winter.  In order to celebrate the day at Riley’s preschool, I created these adorable St. Patrick’s Day Crafts that are rainbow hair clips and pins.  They literally took me five minutes to put together so this is another quick and easy craft.

For the hair clips I used clips that had a little bit of width to them so that the rainbow ribbon would rest easily on it.  You’ll also need rainbow ribbon, which I cut into strips to cover the length of the hair clip.  The cloud is made from felt and was actually a felt heart that I had leftover from Valentine’s Day.  I simply cut it into the shape of a cloud.

The supplies for the pins were exactly the same except that I used 3 inch closed pin fasteners for the pins.  The steps are exactly the same though.

Step 1:  Place hot glue on the hair clip or pin fastener and press the ribbon down.

Step 2: Place a pinkie size amount of hot glue on one end of the ribbon and place the cloud down on top of it.

Step 3: Let your little leprechaun wear it!
