Back to School Prep

July 19, 2014 by Jenny Melrose

Believe me when I say that writing this is more painful for me then it is for you.  You can’t believe that you’ve got to get the kids ready to go back already, while I can’t believe that I have to get myself ready.  As a teacher I look forward to my Summers at home with my girls.  This Summer, I was crazy enough to teach Summer School, which was a great change of past, but has made the Summer fly by.  Luckily, here in NY we go back the first week in September so I still have the month of August left.  Since many of you around the country go back sooner, I wanted to help you get ready for Back to School by giving you some easy, manageable projects to ease into the full out Back to School Prep.

Am I missing something? All I see is a photograph of some articles, but no links. No way to read them.

Great ideas – I can’t believe it’s time to be thinking about this already!

  • Mariah

This lost all credibility in the first sentence when you misused “then”. The correct word is “than”. A teacher should know this.

I never could even get to the item I wanted to read (Calming Kids Down) because you had so many ads and pop-ups that I couldn’t find it.

    • Gail

I agree. That’s the article I wanted to read to, but can’t get to it. Too hard to navigate this page/site.
