Let’s see a raise of hands.  How many of you have “organization” as one of your resolutions for 2014?  This includes everything from “organizing my kitchen” to “organizing my craft room” to “organizing my office” and more.
Okay, next question.  Where do you go for inspiration?   Probably Pinterest, HGTV, and magazines, right? Now, you’ve found that inspirational room and it’s absolutely gorgeous!  You know the room I’m talking about.  Nothing is out of place, it’s all color coordinated, and all of the storage pieces match.  Oh, you are in LOVE!!
So, the next thing you do is search online sites and visit stores like Pottery Barn, The Container Store and Crate & Barrel.  You find that most amazing wire basket and it probably costs somewhere between $15 and $50, correct?  But wait, you need to purchase 6, 8, or 10 wire baskets for your project!  You gulp at the price.  Well, today I’d like to share with you a quick, easy and VERY inexpensive DIY project that won’t kill your wallet because I’m going to show you how to make your own wire baskets!

Dip Dyed Photo Backdrop {from Khaki Pants}

At this point you all know that I love a good party.  I love when everything comes together from the Centerpieces to the Dessert Table. I also think it’s important to make the Backdrop of that photo gorgeous, which is why I created a Dip Dyed Photo Backdrop for Avery’s Baptism.  The best part is that I created my tassels from an old pair of khaki pants.  Yep, khaki pants!

3 Minute Newborn Headband Tutorial

You all know that I love quick and easy projects, but I also love pretty.  Ever since Riley’s hair grew back in as a baby {yep, she was a baldy}, I’ve always had a bow of some sort in her hair.  For some reason I never tried headbands with Riley though.  It was most likely because the child never stayed still long enough for a headband to remain in place on her head.  Fortunately, headbands work wonders with Avery.  I think it’s because she has such a tiny little head that she doesn’t notice the headband on it.  Today I’m sharing a 3 Minute Newborn Headband Tutorial that’ll have you thanking me for sure.
