Fresh Strawberry Chia Jam


  • 3 cup strawberries
  • ΒΌ cup chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 lemon juiced


  • To make the jam, roughly chop the strawberries, measuring out 3 cups. Add the strawberries to a saucepan. Juice the lemon and add the juice into the saucepan with the strawberries and add the maple syrup.
  • Put the saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Allow this to cook down for 15 minutes, until the mixture has released juices, and the strawberries start to break down as you stir them.
  • Add the chia seeds, stir and remove the saucepan from the heat. Allow jam to cool before transferring to a glass jar. This jam recipe makes 16oz which can be stored in the fridge for a few weeks.
