Cranberry & Pomegranate Energy Balls

Cranberry & Pomegranate Energy Balls make the perfect healthy snack.

  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup flax seeds
  • ½ cup almonds
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ pomegranate


  • Clean the pomegranate seeds from half of a pomegranate. Making sure to remove the pith {the inside white part that sticks to the seeds} You can do this by placing the seeds in a bowl and filling it with water. The pith will rise to the top.
  • Add the dried cranberries, oats, flax seeds, almonds and honey to a food processor and process until it looks like a paste and a ball can be formed. If it is not paste like enough add in another ¼ cup of cranberries and a tablespoon of honey.
  • In order to create the balls with the pomegranate added, you'll need to make sure the pomegranates are dried off from being cleaned and then add them to the paste mixture.
  • Squeeze the pomegranates into the balls and make tablespoon size balls.
