Birthday Sprinkle Cookies

These Birthday Sprinkle Cookie are the perfect addition to any celebration with their colorful sprinkles and ease of preparation you can't go wrong.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • ½ tsp Vanilla extrac
  • ½ tsp Baking soda
  • ½ tsp Baking powder
  • 2 ¼ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 bottle Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Prepare a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray or parchment paper and set aside. 
  • In a stand mixer or using a hand mixer cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 
  • Mix in your egg and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl whisk together baking soda, baking powder, and flour.
  • Slowly mix this in with your wet ingredients. Mixing until well combined. 
  • Place sprinkles on a plate. Scoop out 1 ½ tbsp of dough and place in the sprinkles
  • Roll the dough until completely covered in sprinkles.
  • Place sprinkle covered cookie onto your prepared baking sheet. 
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven then allow to cool on the baking sheet for 8-10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
