medium apples
cored and diced

fresh apple cider

water

pecans
chopped

honey
preferably local

ground cinnamon

ground allspice.

teaspoon
ground nutmeg

teaspoon
salt
to taste
Real maple syrup
Instructions
In a greased Crock-Pot, mix oats, water, cider, apples, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and salt.
Cover the slow cooker and allow the oats to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Check for doneness at 5 hours.
Allow the oat mixture to cool slightly before spooning it into bowls. Top with fresh chopped apples, pecans, and some real maple syrup if desired.
