- 5 lb Certified Angus Beef Boneless Rib Roast
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 sprigs thyme diced
- salt & pepper
Preheat the oven to 450.
Rub the melted butter over the entire roast.
Rub the minced garlic, rosemary & thyme over the butter.
Add salt & pepper to the entire roast to taste. Place on a roasting rack and roast for 20 minutes at 450.
After 20 minutes, turn the oven down to 325 and continue to roast for approximately an hour and a half for medium rare {120-130 F}.
Take the roast out and cover it and let it sit for 20 minutes before slicing.
Serve immediately with side of choice. We recommend garlic mashed potatoes and roasted carrots.
