Lime Tequila Shrimp Kabobs Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons lime juice
  • 4 tablespoons tequila
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • pinch of red pepper flakes
  • pinch of salt & pepper
  • one pound of shrimp shelled and deveined
  • 2 limes quartered
  • red bell pepper cut into chunks
  • onion cut into chunks
  • skewers

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl combine the lime juice, tequila, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour the marinade into a gallon size ziplock bag and the shrimp to the marinade.
  • Refrigerate the bag for a minimum of 2 hours before placing it on the skewers.
  • Alternate between shrimp, red bell peppers, onions and limes on the skewers.
  • Cook on the grill for five minutes.
