Lime Tequila Shrimp Kabobs Recipe
A lime tequila marinade for fresh shrimp combines a zing with the fresh ingredients added to the kabobs.

- 4 tablespoons lime juice
- 4 tablespoons tequila
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- pinch of red pepper flakes
- pinch of salt & pepper
- one pound of shrimp shelled and deveined
- 2 limes quartered
- red bell pepper cut into chunks
- onion cut into chunks
- skewers
In a mixing bowl combine the lime juice, tequila, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
Pour the marinade into a gallon size ziplock bag and the shrimp to the marinade.
Refrigerate the bag for a minimum of 2 hours before placing it on the skewers.
Alternate between shrimp, red bell peppers, onions and limes on the skewers.
Cook on the grill for five minutes.
