Ingredients

  • Pillsbury Crescent Seamless Dough Sheets
  • 8 oz package of cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ lb of fresh strawberries hulled & sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of Smuckers Strawberry Jam
  • Egg white wash

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F and spray your baking sheet with non-stick baking spray.
  • Cream the package of room temperature cream cheese with a hand mixer and then add the sugar, egg white and vanilla extract. Cream these together.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium to high heat add in the hulled and sliced strawberries with 2 tablespoons of Strawberry Jam. Stir these until the jelly has mixed into the strawberries and the mixture has combined together.
  • Spread out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and serrate the edges of the dough to create side fro braiding.
  • Place a layer of the cream mixture topped with the strawberry mixture and braid the dough over the mixture.
  • Brush each pastry with the egg white wash {egg white & a bit of water}.
  • Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until golden brown.
