Watermelon Banana Smoothie

During the summertime, it's all about trying to find the best snacks to give my girls and I try to take advantage of all the fresh fruits and vegetables that are available this time of year.  Avery is now one and I recently found out that she is able to drink from a straw.  Who knew?  This means that she can now suck back a smoothie just as quickly as her big sister.  Avery's absolute favorite fruit is banana so I created a Watermelon Banana Smoothie just for her.  Although her big sister definitely snagged some of it as well.

Ever since Avery was able to eat real food, she's loved bananas, which is funny because I can' t stand them.  I literally used to gag at the smell of them.  I've gotten better now though and it's a good thing too because she must eat a banana almost every day.  You'll notice that none of my recipes include bananas so this was a leap for me.  This smoothie is only 3 ingredients though and both of the girls loved it.  Can you tell me?

Riley hardly sat still long enough for me to take the picture of her.  She was too busy trying to run away from Avery who was hot on her heels to get her smoothie back.   They usually realize that they're getting a special treat when I break out the camera and tell them that I have something for them.  I'm pretty sure that Riley used to associate my camera with Cupcakes, but I've made a conscious effort to create Healthy Snacks for them.
