There is nothing quite like celebrating Valentine's Day with your kiddos. The girls have made this month the season of love with our Random Acts of Kindness. We have done everything from delivering cookies to the local police department, which you probably saw on Snapchat {melrosefamily}, to delivering the perfect gift idea to our neighbors that include this amazing Red Velvet Hot Chocolate. So fun!
Red Velvet Hot Chocolate
This recipe for Red Velvet Hot Chocolate could not be simpler. Plus, it comes together in three minutes flat. Seriously, no more than three minutes so don't try to run upstairs fast, otherwise you'll come down to a mess all over the stove. Yes, I'm speaking from experience. It was not fun to clean up. Luckily, it's so pretty that it was totally worth the clean up, which you don't have to worry about because you know it'll only take three minutes.
You all know how much I love a simple recipe and believe me this is as easy as it gets. You'll need TruMoo Chocolate Milk, which we all love by itself, but we're going to heat it up and add a little red velvet cake mix to step it up a notch. That's it! If you want to get fancy you can serve it with whipped cream and heart-shaped marshmallows. It makes the perfect warm beverage to share with your Valentine.
We liked our Red Velvet Hot Chocolate so much that we decided to incorporate it into our Random Acts of Kindness for our neighbors. We were supposed to send them a candy gram, but I packed them up some marshmallows with the red velvet cake mix in a heart container and sent over a jug of the TruMoo Hot Chocolate.
The best part is that our neighbors were thrilled because they are huge fans of TruMoo Chocolate Milk's delicious and nutritious chocolatey taste. It's all about getting the kiddos to smile while getting them the nutrition they need.
