Sports Graduation Centerpieces

If you've been following for a bit you know how much I love topiaries.  I just love having added height on a table for a centerpiece.  For Joe's graduation party I stuck with my sports theme to match his cake and baseball mitt fruit salad bowl.
The graduation cap is multiple cupcake liners with a piece of cardstock hot glued onto the top.  I then made a tassel using thin ribbon and hot gluing a button down on top of it.
I picked up white styrofoam balls and painted the red seams of the baseball onto each of them.  I hot glued the graduation cap onto the top of the baseball.  I pierced the ball with a long lollipop stick and placed it into a tin bucket that I found on clearance at Hobby Lobby.  In order to keep the stick from sliding I strategically placed rocks, that Riley helped me find, around the stick.  It was like creating a puzzle inside of the bucket.  It worked like a charm!
The finishing touch on either side of the centerpieces was a Coke glass filled with Class of 2012 Ring Pops.  LOVE!  The kids loved the Ring Pops.  My nephew went home with a blue face from his.  He looked too cute!
I'll be posting the rest of Joe's graduation party tomorrow.  Plan on seeing a ton of collages from PicMonkey.
