Steak Bites Shish Kabobs

I love this weather because it means it's time to break out the grill, which also means that I don't have to cook the main course of the meal.  Woohoo for that!  You're going to love the flavor packed into these bite size pieces of steak bites shish kabobs.

Steak Bites Shish Kabobs

These steak bites are an absolute favorite of ours.  We make them as steak bites shish kabobs, but they are just as good as little bite size pieces grilled all by their lonesome.  There is just so much flavor in them.  The flavor comes from this amazing marinade that my husband concocted.

Steak Bites Marinade Recipe:
1 cup soy sauce
½ cup vinegar
4 tablespoons brown sugar
4 tablespoons minced onion
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves of fresh garlic
1 teaspoon group ginger
¼ teaspoon pepper
We use a flank steak for this marinade.  It does not need to be an expensive piece of meat because the marinade makes it amazing.  I always mix the marinade and then put bite size pieces of steak into the marinade to soak for a couple of hours.  This is the key though:  You have to make sure that you stick the steak with a fork so all that yummy goodness really gets into the meat.

We've been making kabobs every week since the weather warmed up. Lamb, chicken and beef. Yum! And I love that they can be spiced up in a number of ways. Yours look and sound amazing! I especially love the addition of brown sugar, I will definitely try that next time.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I'm having a giveaway on my blog. I would love for you to stop by if you have time and check it out. Thanks so much!!
