Sometimes the summer just calls for the perfect cocktail that's made for one. I adore a good mojito and I'm definitely not partial to a margarita, but as you've seen from the majority of my recipes I'm all about quick and easy.  During the Summer we always have our Lemonade Recipe on hand so combining it with fresh fruit just seemed like the perfect cocktail.   This cocktail is done and ready to sip in less than five minutes.

Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail

Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail
Once strawberry season hits here in NY my refrigerator is always stocked and I've made everything from popsicles, cakes, pies, cupcakes to puff pastries using fresh strawberries.  My girls both adore strawberries so it's usually my go-to fruit when it comes to creating a dessert for the girls.  I'm also a huge fan of strawberries and will usually order a strawberry margarita at my favorite local Mexican restaurant when Joe and I get a date night out.  So this Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail was definitely not a stretch for me.

Strawberry Lemonade Mason Jar

My husband isn't much of a fruity cocktail drinker though and I can only handle one drink so making a pitcher of these just does not make sense for us.  I also wanted this cocktail to be easy to throw together so that I don't have to wash a ton of dishes afterwards.  You'll be happy to know that you'll only need a blender and a glass to drink it out of.  I'm partial to a mason jar.  Especially since I can use my cute tops.  LOVE them!
