What makes these Bacon Cheddar Ranch burgers a great summer grilling recipe?
Johnsonville is a brand that makes an appearance two to three times a week in my house. Johnsonville sausage was the first meat that both of my girls would eat. We use Johnsonville sausage in everything from pasta to rice dishes to my now famous Carolina Slaw Dogs with a Twist. So when I found out that Johnsonville makes a pork patty I was a little excited. Neither one of my girls will eat hamburgers, but they gobbled up their Johnsonville Grillers. It's the perfect way to get to enjoy National Burger Day on May 28th.

How to make Bacon Cheddar Ranch Burgers
For our burgers I chose Johnsonville Grillers Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Flavor. You could see the cheese and bacon right in the patty. I personally love to combine cheddar cheese, bacon and ranch as you all know very well from my Bacon Ranch Pasta. There's just something about the creaminess of the ranch combined with the salty flavor of the bacon that is the perfect flavor combination for me. Johnsonville Grillers also come in Swiss Cheese and Mushroom or Original Bratwurst. I can't wait to try all the flavors this Summer.

These definitely did not disappoint. Especially since we topped the Bacon Cheddar Ranch Burger with homemade fried onion strips. They gave just a little bit of spice and crunch that I was looking for.
