Daddy's Ice Cream Bowl

With Father's Day right around the corner I wanted to create a unique gift for my husband from Riley.  My husband isn't a huge sweets person, but he LOVES his ice cream.  Riley shares his affinity for ice cream.  They even have an ice cream pillow.  Yep, you read that right.  It's one of those pillows that most college students pick up with the arms.  No matter what time of day, if Joe breaks out the pillow Riley goes running and patiently waits for her share of ice cream from Daddy.  The funny part is that Joe honestly is an ice cream fanatic.  He'll get home from a 2pm-12am shift from work and before he goes to bed, he has to have a bowl of ice cream.  He's too much!  I decided a Daddy's Ice Cream Bowl would only be fitting.

The best part of the bowl is the lip of it though.  It states, "tomorrow we can eat BROCCOLI but today is for ICE CREAM!"  Joe hates broccoli so he'll make sure to use this bowl every day.  At the bottom is a note from Riley.  I'll also throw in his favorite flavor of ice cream.

What a cute idea, Jenny! My dad is the same way and we always tease him about how big his bowl is...we call his ice cream scoop a shovel. 😉 Thanks for linking at Shine on Fridays!
