Who is your favorite Christmas character?  There are some consistent Christmas characters that appear over at The Melrose Family.  You can easily find Rudolph and certainly the Grinch.  My girls love the holidays and we especially love cute snack ideas that they can help make like this Melted Rudolph Popcorn. It's simple, easy and so good!

Melted Rudolph Popcorn

Who is your favorite Christmas character? We love Rudolph so this Melted Rudolph Popcorn is always a huge hit each year when we watch our Christmas movies.

I was inspired by these simple Rudolph candies to make the popcorn.  The face is a mini peanut butter cup with googley eye candies and a red M&M as the nose.  The antlers are a mini pretzel broken in half.  It's some serious cuteness on a plate.  I'm pretty sure I threw back at least four of these guys before finally making the popcorn.  I just can't resist mini peanut butter cups.

We usually make our popcorn recipes by covering it in melted white chocolate, which you certainly can still do.  Check out our Melted Snowman Popcorn for the recipe using white chocolate.  For our Melted Rudolph Popcorn I used melted marshmallows instead.  My girls like it with the marshmallow because the marshmallow makes it gooey.  You pull apart the popcorn and you get the strings of marshmallow coming off it.  What kid doesn't love gooey snacks right?

A bowlful of this Melted Rudolph Popcorn makes the perfect snack idea to watch all your favorite Christmas specials, especially Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.  It's bound to become a new family tradition that everyone will want to get on.
