I am a huge fan of homemade sugar scrub recipes for two reasons.  The first is that they are so easy to put together.  They literally take me five minutes. Second, you get to control the scent.

Why you should try this Sugar Scrub Recipe?

After the success of my Cucumber Green Tea Sugar Scrub that I made as diy gift ideas during Mother's Day, I thought it would be a snap to pull together some Winter scents.  I was definitely right.

This Milk & Honey Sugar Scrub Recipe smells and looks like new fallen snow.  Plus, sugar scrubs are packaged beautifully in mason jars and I made it extra cute with these snowman hats.

Ingredients:

The ingredients for this scrub are minimal and come together so easily.  You'll need:

  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of baby oil
  • 1 tablespoon of Suave Milk & Honey Splash Body Wash
  • Essential oils {I used peace & calming}
  • This makes the perfect amount of scrub to fit in a 4 oz jelly jar.

I could have simply packaged the scrub in a plain jar, but it's the holidays so I had to dress it up a bit.  You can find the tutorial on how to create the snowman jar here.  I promise it'll take you five minutes to put together and you don't need to be the least bit crafty to pull it off.

    Can I make this in molds? I am looking for a sugar scrub made with liquid soap, coconut oil and sugar...to out in molds.
    Thank you!
