Thankful Handprint Pumpkin

I just have to share this project again!  It adorns our kitchen table every Fall and it’s always admired.  Isn’t there just something about those itty bitty handprints that just do you in?  I love decorating with them as you’ve seen from my Sea Life Hand Print art.  With the time of Thanksgiving upon us, I am always reminded of how thankful I am for my beautiful family.  This time last year I announced my unexpected pregnancy with Avery and how amazingly blessed we felt.  So this year I put together our family Thankful Handprint Pumpkin and have decided that this definitely needs to become a family tradition.

This craft was so fun to put together because I was even able to get Joe involved.  We started out using Daddy’s handrpint, moved to mine, then Riley’s and finally, Avery’s.  I used a permanent marker to write thankful on the front and our last name on the back with the date.  The pumpkin is plastic and is extremely similar to this one.  We found ours at a local craft store and it even weathered through sitting on our front porch last Fall.

We love simple ideas like these that get our girls involved and are so easy to make!  If you’re looking to go crazy decorating this Fall with pumpkins, be sure to check out the 25 Pumpkin Decorating Ideas below.
