DIY Beach Bag from Betwixxt

Since I’m away on vacation relaxing and heading to the beach, I thought it would only be right to get you set up to head to the beach yourselves.  Gracie B from Betwixxt is here to show you how to make your own Beach Bag.  Squeal!  The best part is that she’s making it from a bath towel.  So fun, easy and cute!

  5. Kristie Leen says:

    There is nothing like a beautiful day at the beach, the sand, surf and the rays of the sun beating down on your body. Beach visits have been popular with people of all ages, and are as much of a family activity as they are an individual excursion. No beach visit is complete without spending some timer relaxing on the beach with some suntan lotion on and getting that perfect tan. ;

  6. You sew 3 inch seams on each side? Did you trim you seams or just leave them? Why such large seams?

    • I was wondering the same thing about the 3 inch seams. I’m not sure what the purpose is. I was thinking it might be to insure strength in the bag. I would probably want to tack them down someway. It seems like 3 inches on each side might take quite a bit of room away from the bag. But I am not the creator or the expert. Still a very nice bag and gift for someone.

  7. Love the beach towel bag! Just curious if there is a reason for putting the webbing handles on the outside of the bag? I’m thinking it might have a more ‘finished’ look if they were on the inside. Just my opinion…

  8. Love this bag. Looks very simple to make!
