Changing the Cleaning Roles

In a vast majority of households the cleaning roles have changed quite a bit.  In our house we make it a Family Cleaning Affair.  We've found that involving everyone makes it easier to feel responsible for the house as all of ours.  In order to do this though, we had to change our cleaning roles and tools.

We were able to change our cleaning roles in our house thanks to Swiffer and the #BigGreenBox.  I always hated dusting, but the dusters with Gain made the whole room smell so good that it made it something I wanted to do.  Plus, the duster was easy enough for my four and half year old to use.  Score!  Let's be honest, less work for mommy is a good thing.  My husband was thrilled about the Sweeper mops, which made mopping a simple task after I made my messes in the kitchen.  You all know how much of a mess I'm known to make when I'm making my Apple Pie Cupcakes.

The fact of the matter is that most relationships become stressed when it comes to cleaning.  In order to ease that tension Swiffer has made it quicker and easier to get it all done.  I had the opportunity to pass on the #SwifferEffect to our neighbors as well as meet the newest star of the Swiffer campaign, Eric Stonestreet.  He is the absolutely hysterical star of the hit show, Mordern Family, and his new commercial for Swiffer is fabulous.

You have to hear his description of his mom towards the end of her stay with him.  It's laugh out loud funny!
