Are you ready for some holiday cuteness?  There is nothing I love better than creating an adorable dessert that my girls go absolutely nuts over.  One of our favorite holiday characters is the Grinch.  I love that there's a bigger message in the story than just buying gifts for others.  I want my girls to know that the good that can be found in every single person and the Grinch is a way great way to remind them of that this holiday season.  These Grinch OREO Balls were a definite hit and did I mention they taste amazing!

This is a sponsored post written on behalf of OREOS, but all opinions are my own.

I've definitely made my fair share of OREO cookie balls, but none of them have ever come out as cute as these Grinch OREO Balls.  I especially loved these because they hide the imperfections that I always seem to have from rolling the OREO cookie ball in the Wilton chocolate.  I just never seem to get the chocolate to the right consistency that they come out smooth.  Luckily, you don't even look at the chocolate with these Grinch OREO Balls.

You're too busy getting lost in his eyes and devious smile.  Oh, and his furrowed brows just make me smile along with him.  There's seriously something about the Grinch that makes me wish it was the holidays year round.  I used Wilton Sparkle Gel for the black features and just a dot of the red for his pupils.

The yellow of his eyes are dollies that I cut in half.  His hair is made from a green Twizzler that was cut into one inch pieces and then cut down the middle to make strands of hair.  The hair and eyes were both stuck onto the chocolate coated outside with the Wilton Sparkle Gel because I just don't move quick enough to get them stuck in the chocolate before it hardens.  The best part is that you can find all the supplies for these Grinch OREO Balls at your local Walmart.

Growing up there were always OREO cookies in my house.  They were a classic cookie that I loved to dunk in milk.  I have passed on my love of OREO cookies to my girls now.  They're not big on dunking their OREO cookies, but all the new flavors get them excited every time we see them in Walmart.  They loved that they got to eat their favorite cookie in such a cute form as these Grinch OREO Balls.  Each Grinch OREO Ball is one serving size.

Plus, when you bite into them you get the chocolate coated outside with the OREO cookie ball center.  It's a win-win!  My girls were absolutely delighted when they bit into the these Grinch OREO Balls because they weren't expecting an OREO cookie ball center.  It's as if they think I'm going to dip beets in chocolate and serve them to them.  Although, that might be an idea for dinner.  Just kidding!  Or am I?  Nevertheless, these Grinch OREO Balls are sure to be a crowd pleaser and would be perfect for a holiday party at school.
